Ucamco (former Barco ETS) is a market leader in PCB CAM software and laser photoplotting systems. We have more than 25 years continuous experience developing and supporting leading-edge front-end tooling solutions for the global PCB industry. We help fabricators world-wide raise yields, increase factory productivity, and cut enterprise risks and costs.

Today we have more than 1000 laser photoplotters and 5000 CAM systems installed around the world with local support in every major market. Our customers include the leading PCB fabricators across the global spectrum. Many of them have been with us for more than 20 years.

CAM Products
Our CAM solutions integrate PCB product engineering from your customer's CAD system through your sales office and down to your shop-floor to cut out costs, speed up your production cycle and enhance yields, whether you make conventional, HDI, flexible or flex-rigid circuitry.

Plotter Products.
Our laser photoplotters are accepted world-wide as the benchmark for accuracy, throughput and reliability. We offer a choice of "drop-in" models for customers who want the highest plot speed, or the finest features (down to 4micron), or the best all-round combination of speed, resolution and price.

History
Ucamco was set up in 1983 as part of DISC NV in Ghent, Belgium to provide laser photoplotters and CAM systems for PCB fabricators. At first combined with similar projects for the printing industry, in 1989 when DISC was bought by the Barco Group, we were set up as separate division, Barco Electronic Tooling Systems (Barco ETS). In 1998 we cemented our commitment to the US market by acquiring the PCB division of Gerber Scientific. In 2002 the Barco Group restructured and we were taken over by Mania Technologie AG and became Mania Belgium.

In August 2008 we were one of the financially sound divisions of Mania Technologie bought from the administrators by the ESO Capital Group. Now put on a stable financial basis, we have chosen the new name UCAMCO to reflect our core competencies, UCAM for our globally recognised software products and the laser symbol for our expertise in precision photoplotting.
