Karel Tavernier - Managing Director
Karel has 30 years’ experience in software and imaging equipment for the PCB and electronic printed packaging industry, including sales, service and R&D at Barco, Belgium. He has been in his present role since July 1997. Karel received a Master’s Degree in Electronic Engineering and a postgraduate in Computer Science from the University of Gent and holds a Management Degree from Vlerick Management School
Michel Van den Heuvel - Imaging Group Director
Michel started as plotter field service engineer at Ucamco in 1988. Michel became plotter customer care manager in 1999, and plotter product group director in 2003, where he introduced the calibr8tor plotter series. He received a Masters Degree in Industrial Sciences (Electronics) from the Hogeschool in Gent, Belgium
Frank Stockman - Finance Director
Frank joined Ucamco in January 2002. Over the past 20 years, he has held senior finance and accounting roles, including with Philips and HP. He graduated from Vlekho in Brussels in Belgium and holds a Master’s Degree in Applied Economics and a postgraduate degree in Financial Management and Accountancy
Frank Van den Bossche - Sales Director
Frank joined Ucamco in 1989. has worked as software application engineer, sales engineer, software product manager, and was appointed sales director in April 2008. In 1988, he received a Masters Degree in Industrial Sciences (Micro-Electronics) from the Hogeschool in Gent, Belgium in 1988
Ludek Brukner - Software R&D Director
Ludek started in 1996 as an R&D engineer at Barco, Ucamco’s parent company at the time. In 2000, he moved to Ucamco as manager of the software R&D team in Prague. In 2011 he became Ucamco Software R&D Director. Ludek has a Masters degree from Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic
Jenny Xiong Jie - Director China
Jenny Joined Ucamco as a software programmer in 2008. She then became OEM manager of Ucamco China for 5 years. She was appointed Director China in May 2020. Jenny received a Master’s degree in information management and information system from Hohai University in Nanjing, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Nanjing University of Science and Technology.
Rik Vandekerckhove - Director Asia Pacific
After being a school teacher for 10 years Rik joined the industry in 1985 as application and software trainer. In 2003 he became responsable for Ucamco Asia Pacific.
Arash Kahafi Zadeh - Director Japan
Arash started as sales/support engineer for Barco ETS at ACT in Japan in 2000. He then became Software Support Manager Asia for 3 years and together with Rik Vandekerckhove built locally fully functional independent software support teams throughout Asia. Since 2010, he has been working as Director Japan for Ucamco Japan. Arash both graduated from Fukui University and pursued graduate studies there under a Japanese Government Scholarship.
