Learning seminar participants increase daily productivity immediately

Last week saw the 4th annual Adeon-Ucamco Learning Seminar. CAM managers and users from all over Europe gathered in Birmingham to learn more about new features in Ucamco software.

The learning seminar agenda turned out to live up to, and in some cases exceed, all expectations. Adam Newington and Denis Morin, two of Ucamco’s Senior Application Engineers, kicked off the event with a presentation of our most relevant modules, followed by a demonstration of developments in Integr8tor, Communic8tor, YELO and UcamX. Attendees also got a glimpse of the future of CAM engineering entering the era of Artificial Intelligence in iamcam.

All participants had been invited to bring their company’s laptops on which all relevant seminar software tools and functionality were loaded. During the Seminar the participants were able to make use of these tools during interactive live sessions. To help visualize the benefits of the new functions, the participants benefit from having all the added tools available for some time after the seminar. This hands-on approach increased the level of interaction and really made sure the attendees became fully familiar with our software and all its newest features.

During the sessions it became apparent that the approach with all tools live and interactive, allowed the participants to quickly learn the use of the new functionality, as well as better and faster ways to already use existing functionality. UcamX Rout Manager enhancements from April 2019, for example, turned out to be unknown territory to the lion’s share of our CAM users.

“I do update the software after every release”, one attendee summarized the general feeling, “but often times I don’t get around to studying and testing what’s new. I’m glad I attended the seminar, because finding out about these extras will save me tons of time in the future.”
